I’ll hold my hands up and say I haven’t fully read the whole of Adam’s last two posts but I did watch the video and one of the key ideas from that echoed with me. Cutting up and creating new.
It’s a fascinating idea, especially with the example given int the video. It reminded me of this youtuber called Pogo who takes sound effects from films to create a strange and almost psychedelic song from the sounds.

I’ll post a couple here for you to watch, Adam, if you find it at all interesting. (and the rest of you, obviously)
This is a rather lovely idea, and coupled with the musical banana exercise we did a few weeks ago? Might be interesting.

P.S. there was a cut up style thing they did on Rupaul’s Drag Race this week that I was actually going to post about as it’s a rather genius form of performance that would work so well for multimedia, but I need to wait till clips go on youtube to post it here… Expect that in the next couple days.
